Try something different with the polish version of gnocchi.
Ingredients
- 1.1kg potatoes
- 1 egg beaten
- 3 cups plain flour
- 4 tablespoons potato flour
- ½ tablespoon salt
Method
- Mash boiled potatoes through sieve.
- Add plain and potato flour and salt
- Add egg and knead well
- Roll dough into a sausage and cut at an angle of 30 degrees
- Place into a pot of boiling water for 7 minutes
Serving suggestion: For the healthiest option, serve freshly boiled as a side serve with meat and vegetables. Otherwise you can garnish with a little butter, or pan fry them in butter to add a little crispiness!
