Try something different with the polish version of gnocchi.

Ingredients

  • 1.1kg potatoes
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 4 tablespoons potato flour
  • ½ tablespoon salt

Method

  1. Mash boiled potatoes through sieve.
  2. Add plain and potato flour and salt
  3. Add egg and knead well
  4. Roll dough into a sausage and cut at an angle of 30 degrees
  5. Place into a pot of boiling water for 7 minutes

Serving suggestion: For the healthiest option, serve freshly boiled as a side serve with meat and vegetables. Otherwise you can garnish with a little butter, or pan fry them in butter to add a little crispiness!
